Derek was Managing Director of Aggreko International and a main board Director of Aggreko plc. for 11 years. In this role he grew the international business into a billion dollar business. Previously he was responsible for the UK based assembly Aggreko generators to the worldwide market.   Ben is a highly qualified executive offering more than 20 years of accomplished experience in electrical engineering. Ben has extensive experience in building strong and prosperous relationships with stakeholders in the wind energy industry with a proven track record of creating and delivering complex technical and stragegic programmes. Prior to joining NGenTec Ben led the Wind and Renewables sectors for Converteam.   Gavin is Investment Director in Clyde Blowers, a Scottish based private equity firm, which invests in engineering firms that supply the energy (including renewable), mining and water sectors. Previously, Gavin was Commercial Director of BP’s Alternative Energy business in the US. He has extensive experience investing in and growing businesses in the energy sector from a 15 year career at BP. He has an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where he was a Sloan Fellow.

Derek is CEO and Chairman of Adam Smith Ltd. (ASL) based in Edinburgh. ASL provides corporate financial advice to SMEs and particularly start-ups seeking investment. He has a long history of successfully raising finance for start-ups in Scotland.   Wouter is Managing Directorof SET Venture Partners, a VC firm focused on early stage companies active in sustainable energy technologies, based in Europe. He serves on the Boards of CrystalQ Group B.V., EnOcean GmbH, NGenTec Ltd and SolarTotal Holding B.V. Previously Wouter was CFO of the Philips Healthcare Incubator, and Director in the Philips Corporate Venturing team. His venture experience dates back to the start of his career with Greenfield Capital Partners and N.V. Brabant (merged into NeSBIC) in the early nineties.
