NGenTec Limited is a spinout company from the University of Edinburgh’s School of Engineering. The company was incorporated in 2009 and is based in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK.
Since 2005 NGenTec technology has been demonstrated through a number of prototypes that have been built and satisfactorily tested on test rigs and fully operational wind turbines.
Such demonstrators proved and verified the performance and mechanical, structural, electro-magnetic and thermal characteristics of NGenTec’s generator design.
Such successful testing served to validate various NGenTec design and modelling tools.
